i wrote this poem about bad days was completed at 1 AM in the morning on a random Tuesday back in 2021. The pressure of online school in the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic paired with the teenage woes of social comparison resulted in 16-year-old De-Mario being trapped in a very dark headspace.

After having a conversation with my good friend Fariya, I was inspired to share my struggles in the form of a sister poem to i wrote this poem about mental health. With this poem, I strived to inspire my peers by letting them know that there is nothing to be ashamed of if you have a bad day: it is a part of being human.
