ABOUT DE-MARIO
De-Mario Knowles is an eight-time award-winning keynote speaker, poet, and former Student Trustee who is on a lifelong mission to make an IMPACT! After receiving international recognition for his mental health poetry, De-Mario has dominated the social empowerment space through his authentic approach of sharing his struggles to show people that rough starts don’t mean you can’t have a smooth finish.
De-Mario’s platform has been featured on billboards across the Greater Toronto Area and has been featured by media giants such as Rogers TV and the Toronto Star. His work has allowed him to share spaces with Boi-1da, Pinball Clemons, Dax, Sam Demma. He has also been able to inspire people from countries such as Canada, America, Uganda, Pakistan, and India. When De-Mario isn’t speaking about mental health, resilience, and leadership, he can be found hitting the griddy, producing music, and annoying his big sister.
