WHO IS DE-MARIO?

De-Mario Knowles is an eight-time award-winning keynote speaker, poet, and creative who is on a lifelong mission to make an IMPACT! His work has been recognized in several countries throughout the world, including Canada, America, Uganda, Pakistan, and India. He was rewarded the prestigious Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award for his inspirational work, and he is currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto in Neuroscience, Mental Health Studies, and French. Since 2021, the former Student Trustee has written over 15 poems about vulnerable topics such as body image, insecurities, and self-love. At his speeches, he can often be found with his trusty cameraman, TND Visuals.

De-Mario’s platform has been featured on billboards across the Greater Toronto Area and has been featured by media giants such as Rogers TV and the Toronto Star. His social media clips of his work have collectively been viewed over 100,000 times, dominantly from his Instagram page. When De-Mario isn’t inspiring others or pursuing his studies, you can find him producing music, eating pasta, or working on his podcast.
